Day 42

Another day floating about the Indian Ocean.  Today I went to another talk by Captain Chris - this time it was everything that goes on in the cockpit during a flight.  Captain Chris Rigby had filmed everything that happens in the cockpit of a plane, from the pilot getting onboard until landing.  It was really interesting to see what goes on and have in insight into all the switches and procedures the pilots go through for every flight.

Andy went to a couple of different talks, one on the East Indian Company and another on the Great Western Liner which was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

I then popped into the afternoon craft class and did a spot of silk painting which I’ve never done before - it was so relaxing, I’ll definitely do that again!

The day was finished with a visit to the theatre to watch a show with The Tap Step Brothers and E Sarah Carter - a riverdance tribute.  Very good it was too!
